Aims of Newbarns Nursery

In our Nursery we aim to provide:

an environment that is safe, secure and stable
opportunities to learn by active exploration and through play
opportunities to make choices
opportunities to talk and share their experiences with their friends and teachers.
adults will make time to listen to all the children and ensure their individual needs and interests are catered for
a broad range of stimulating experiences in all areas of the curriculum
an environment which helps the children develop a positive image of themselves and fosters their sense of identity
an environment that fosters positive relationships between children and between adults and children
opportunities for all to respect and have equal regard for themselves, their families, their background, culture and beliefs and a learning situation which promotes active partnership with their parents/carers
